About the Job
The Marketing Specialist reports to and works closely with marketing management to ensure effective and timely marketing deliverables are integrated with the sales execution team. The Marketing Specialist will lead some efforts and participate as a team member in others, taking direction from the Senior Marketing Manager.
Requirements
2-4 years of related experience. Experience in marketing, advertising, creative concepts and writing.
- Coordinates the job flow of marketing projects through creative and production stages.
Expedites the process of marketing jobs through the system when necessary.
- Facilitates new and supports existing direct marketing programs.
- Identify market opportunities and communicate with appropriate extended team members on opportunities and plans.
- Oversees timely production and approval for collateral, promotional concepts, advertising and sales presentation materials.
- Create targeted direct marketing campaigns and coordinate execution with various extended team members.
- Support Sale Execution to maximize sales opportunities.
- Create follow-up material and packages as needed to increase campaign response rates.
- Develop new customer correspondence and presentation material for the residential and commercial sales teams.
- Monitor and track marketing expenses by managing invoice approval and submission process.

Under the direction of the Manager of Telemarketing, The Telemarketing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that Gateway Energy Services team of telemarketers and sales staff are generating sales, productively, effectively, responsibly, and professionally., as well as motivating, a group of Telesales agents to achieve, and maintain, the Department's goals and standards for sales, quality and the overall customer experience. This position is responsible for developing reps through daily coaching, counseling, reviewing quality assurance, conducting one-on-one meetings and overseeing employees' performance and productivity. This position will also be required to walk the floor and assist agents as needed, create motivational floor contests and lead a team of telephone sales representatives to achieve organizational goals. Will be responsible for staff and operations management, maintaining quality and productivity levels and training. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of Management, as well as possess strong organization skills and follow up abilities.
Requirements
Responsible for insuring that telemarketing representatives are effectively selling new customers:
- The Telemarketing Supervisor will be responsible for developing employees, which will include coaching, counseling, developing, and improving telephone sales skills, conducting one-on-one meetings and overseeing the employee’s performance productivity.
- Create and support a positive working environment through motivational incentive programs and providing positive feedback.
- Assist the Manager of Telemarketing in setting daily, weekly, and monthly performance standards to meet sales goals.
- Establish and organize team procedures and goals to ensure efficient operations and maximize employees' performance.
- Communicate, monitor and assess employees' standards of performance, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Support HR Recruiting by interviewing and selecting future candidates.
- Reward, counsel and discipline employees as necessary.
- Monitor staff scheduling, employee performance reviews, attendance and other employee relations issues.
- Will assist the Director of Telemarketing and Manager of Telemarketing in ensuring Team, Department and Company goals are achieved and standards met through effective partnerships and communication.

Under the direction of the Telemarketing Director and Outbound Telemarketing Supervisors, the Outbound Telemarketing In-House Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for selling via the telephone. This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new commercial (business) accounts, in order to meet revenue goals set by the company.
Requirements
- Become familiar with Gateway Energy’s business and specifically understand each product offered, in each of our territories
- Field calls from inbound commercial sales queue.
- Make outbound prospecting commercial sales calls to former and prospective customers.
- Maintain an acceptable volume of sales per week and month; and a high percentage of good quality orders.
- Satisfy acceptable adherence to schedule and attendance policy.
- Other projects as needed.
