American Heart Association
Gateway Energy Services continues its support of the American Heart Association through its participation at the annual 3K Start! Walk.
This year’s event was held Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Lake Sebago Beach, Harriman State Park. More than 3,000 residents of Orange, Sullivan and Rockland counties took part, raising a record $350,000.Team Gateway raised more than $1,600.
Since 1924, the American Heart Association has helped protect people of all ages and ethnicities from the ravages of heart disease and stroke. These diseases, the No. 1 and No. 3 killers, claim more than 910,000 American lives a year.
